Methodology to calculate the age of a rabbit
There is in fact, no infallible mathematical formula to calculate the human age of a rabbit because its growth and physiological changes during its life are very different from what's seen in humans.
However, it is rather based on the observations of the ages of the rabbit, that veterinarians have established a correlation table (age chart) to see an equivalent in human age:

Life expectancy of the rabbit: A rabbit can easily reach 8 to 12 years if his lifestyle is correct and some rabbits can even go up to 14-16 years. The record found is 18 years, this was the world's oldest rabbit (record to beat!).
